ON THE ROAD WITH THE GREBIEN QUALIFIBER MOBILE LABORATORY

Since the end of August 2019, the mobile laboratory has been successfully used by customers. The first study was carried out at the Smurfit Kappa Wrexen Paper & Board mill in Diemelstadt. Many thanks to the PM 3 team for the very good support during our first assignment. In the stock preparation of PM 3, a pulper line incl. Sorting and constant part analyzed. The initial task was to record the actual process parameters with regard to pulp quality and the by-products produced. Subsequently, it was possible to identify potential for improvement in order to bring about an increase in efficiency without investing in new equipment. The FlowMac process simulation software used in combination with the values determined in the mobile laboratory and the view sheets proved to be a practice-oriented solution, which was very positively received by the customer.
